Vibram are world leaders in high performance rubber soles, for outdoor footwear. Vibram rubber soles are made with three objectives: guarantee the best performance, comfort and lasting quality. The Vibram Evo sole provides stability, optimum cushioning and is anti-slip coated.
- GORE-TEX
The GORE-TEX membrane is a unique heat-sealed technical fabric containing approximately 1.4 trillion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule. That way, water drops can't penetrate the membrane and water vapour can escape easily. GORE-TEX has designed 3 specific types of membrane for the footwear industry, each with specific functions.

This process prolongs the life of the shoe and contributes greatly to sustainability.
- Stiff
Footwear labelled as "rigid" has a high degree of stiffness. This means that the soles remain firm even when under stress.
- 2 zone lacing
Thanks to the two-zone lacing system, the forefoot and instep have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the shoe can be individually adjusted to the anatomy of the foot.
- X-Lacing
Optimal tongue positioning, no slippage or pressure points: that's what X-Lacing technology is all about. This special lacing system fixes the tongue both vertically and horizontally. The lacing system gains independence from the height of the instep, making it perfect for any type of foot. In this technology, the pressure of the laces is not only supported by the hooks, but is also transferred to the tongue.
- Flexifit
Feet can move more effectively if the top of a hiking boot can be easily bended. This feature saves energy when the user climbs hills and provides real comfort in the process. For this reason, LOWA has integrated a flex zone and a "lace loop" in the instep area. For this purpose, the eyelets of the boot have been repositioned and a flexible lace hook has been used to improve heel comfort and facilitate flexion.
- Climbing Zone
The flat forefoot design and low profile depth improve traction on rock. In turn, they simplify the climbing process.
- Compatible with Semi-Automatic Crampons
"Semi-automatic crampons" are crampons for mountaineering and approach boots that have a back welt, but no front welt, suitable with these boots.
