The Broad Peak insulation line has been improved in recent years thanks to lightweight materials and updated fillers. Broad Peak products have gained packability and their warmth-to-weight ratio is ideal. The common features of all these products are:

- Premium goose down fillings which follow the RDS responsible down standards
- Strategically placed pockets that are compatible with a harness and a backpack

The fabrics designed by Pertex offer resistance to traction and abrasion and, in addition, are very lightweight. The soft fabric allows insulation to fully loft. The main properties of Pertex Quantum are: Lightweight and packable, soft to the touch, and windproof to retain warmth.
- Pocket Weave Technology
This technology includes down chambers directly on the material, eliminating the need for seams or glue. As the fabric does not need to be stitched together with sewing needles, it prevents the down from leaking, improving heat retention, weight and durability. The heat retention provided by this technology is achieved by reducing the probability of cold getting in and ensures that the body is always kept at the same temperature. The high quality of Pocket Weave fabrics is provided by the materials used and how little damaged they are, thanks to the fact that it is not necessary to sew them together, using even less material.
