Marmot NanoPro technology is the most comfortable waterproof/breathable coating in the history of Marmot. NanoPro's™ superior microporous structure is dynamically permeable to air, allowing air exchange to help release excess moisture vapor without compromising the garment's waterproofing or wind resistance. Marmot's NanoPro coating uses a new microporous technology with a pore structure that is 30% smaller than previous generations. These very small, very dense pores allow for greater breathability and maintain excellent waterproofing.

This technology increases the inner comfort of the garment by allowing the wearer to feel less damp and more comfortable in a wide range of temperatures and conditions. The mesh prevents condensation from accumulating on the skin regardless of the level of activity due to its three-dimensional structure. The dimensional weave structure also helps by spreading the moisture over a larger surface area maximizing the efficiency of the evaporation process. This technology solves the problem of condensation and internal comfort that even the most breathable fabrics struggle with during high intensity activities.

Thermal R technology consists of a polyester coating specifically designed to meet a variety of cold weather needs. It is formed from a combination of multi-channel and hollow fibres and is intended to provide maximum warmth while reducing the adverse effects of perspiration, condensation and humidity. At the same time, the fine multi-channel fibre transports moisture while the hollow fibres provide an excellent and comfortable loft. Thermal R insulation is tough and durable.
