The Marzocchi brand was founded by brothers Stefano and Guglielmo Marzocchi in 1949. In its early days, the brand excelled at designing and producing motorbikes, but the founders soon decided that the future lay in the hydraulic suspension market. It was at the end of the 1950s that the Marzocchi brothers' company became a supplier to the world's major motoring brands.

In 1989, Marzocchi responded to the demands of MTB riders and introduced its first suspension fork for bicycles. With the arrival of the new century, the Italian brand has continued its commitment to this market, offering suspension forks for MTB, Enduro or city bikes."
