Mizuno Wave Rider 23 Running Shoes Blue Yellow

The Mizuno Wave Rider 23 are iconic running shoes from the Japanese brand. This version keeps the hallmark of the Wave Rider saga with maximum cushioning, but adds significant changes so that these Wave Rider 22 shoes are more flexible, dynamic and comfortable, but still have the full cushioning capacity. The midsole has been completely updated, but the U4ic and U4icX components are still the stars, together with the CloudWave platform. This combination is perfect, and sets these shoes as the benchmark in greater cushioning capacity, impact dispersal and flexibility.

- AirMesh
A material used in tights that provides a high level of breathability, helping to keep the skin cool and dry.

- Dynamotion Fit
Running shoes lose their shape around the collar through the stepping motion, which means the fit becomes less good and causes the foot to slip inside the shoe. The Dynamotion Fit system allows the upper to interact with the movement of the foot so that the shoe holds perfectly around the foot during all the phases of a step.

- Premium Insock
Sockliner made from an high cushioning material. Comfort, cushioning and durability inside the shoe.

- Smooth Ride
Smooth Ride minimises harsh accelerations and decelerations in the foot during stride phases: heel impact, rotation and propulsion. It reduces vibrations caused by the foot's impact with the ground and improves shoe flexibility. All of that is achieved through new cushioning materials, strategically-placed flex points in the outer sole and Wave with softer waves.

- Mizuno Intercool 
Solves the problem of heat and moisture building up inside running shoes by using a ventilation hole system along the midsole. Intercool helps reduce temperature of the feet by removing warm air.

- U4iC
New cushioning material for the midsole. The U4iC has the same cushioning properties as the Ap+, but it's much lighter so that running feels lighter.

- U4iCX
New material used in the midsole for extra cushioning capacity and energy return. The stride transition is almost smoother thanks to the impulse effect.

- X10
X10 is Mizuno's most durable carbon rubber that is fitted around the parts of the foot that hit the ground hardest, and helps to prolong the life of the shoe, as well as improving traction.

- Pebax Rnew
A sustainable plant-based oil compound made with low emissions and preserving the features needed for high performance.
