The Northwave Spider Plus 3 MTB shoes offer exceptional grip for the most aggressive mountain biking sessions. The strategically perforated shell ensures excellent breathability, while the reinforcements allow for superior foot protection. The reinforced toe cap and rubber-printed heel provide added strength and durability to this shoe. The Michelin X-Crossbow sole provides exceptional grip when pedalling. The closure is made by means of a Velcro strap and the unique SLW3 dial, which allows a millimetric adjustment with a single movement.

Northwave has developed this sole with Michelin Technical Soles. Inspired by two MTB tyres, the tread pattern features a large number of edges and smaller tread blocks for maximum traction on all surfaces and increased self-cleaning capability. This high-end outsole is designed with X-Crossbow double leaf spring construction for incredible foot support and impressive shock absorption in the heel area. The inner insert gradually moulds to the foot for optimal stiffness when riding but greater comfort when walking, ensuring top-notch responsiveness in any situation.

S.L:W. dial 3 (Speed Lace Winch) represents the evolution of the closure system. Maximum precision and usability. This innovative dial system that can be tightened or loosened quickly and easily. The side button offers dual functionality: press the button for micrometric release, or lift the button to instantly undo the shoe completely. The dial has been completely redesigned in size, becoming much lighter and slimmer. The outer part is made of a soft-touch material making it easier to grip. The ergonomic shape of the ratchet of the S.L.W.2 system 3 follows the anatomy of the foot to make it really comfortable. The S.L.W. ratchet 3 is easily replaceable. The wires come from the best technologies used in sailing.

Very comfortable, good quality and very beautiful.

I have tried them with cleats on an MTB, and the truth is that they are very comfortable, always buy one size bigger than your normal shoes. I like them because they have a fantastic sole, and you can walk with them when you get off the bike as if they were normal shoes, since the cleats don't catch or slip on the ground even when it's rocky. They are strongly reinforced and secure firmly onto the pedal. The, tightening system for the wheel is very comfortable and in my opinion it's even better than the well-known Shimano BOA. It also has velcro that allows you to adjust the instep to suit every situation. These are the best MTB or Gravell cycling shoes I've ever had. I especially recommend them.
