The Northwave Veloce Extreme Filippo Ganna shoes have been developed in conjunction with Olympic champion and hour record holder Filippo Ganna, who has a lot to tell us about speed. Following its latest success, Northwave has developed the Veloce road shoes, which, as the name suggests, conform to a concept that evokes not only pure speed but also many other elements and details that contribute to the highest performance. Made from 100% unidirectional carbon, this sole, with a stiffness rating of 15, has been developed to optimise power transmission to the pedals, all thanks to the unique high-tail structure and the patented PowerShape system. The rubber heel pads can be replaced to prolong the life of the shoe.

Enlarged ventilation zones maximise airflow. The upper has an overlapping structure to improve the fit of the wrap with a uniform closure. Laser cuts have been made to improve ventilation and thermoregulation of the feet. 

ARS 2.0 anatomical reticular support technology provides added support to ensure correct positioning of the rider's foot. The heel support with its oriented fibres gives the foot a firm fit and prevents it from slipping out of the shoe. The SLW3 double locking system developed by X Dial is totally unique and allows an extremely precise locking with a double zone for micrometric adjustment of the fit.

S.L:W. dial 3 (Speed Lace Winch) represents the evolution of the closure system. Maximum precision and usability. This innovative dial system that can be tightened or loosened quickly and easily. The side button offers dual functionality: press the button for micrometric release, or lift the button to instantly undo the shoe completely. The dial has been completely redesigned in size, becoming much lighter and slimmer. The outer part is made of a soft-touch material making it easier to grip. The ergonomic shape of the ratchet of the S.L.W.2 system 3 follows the anatomy of the foot to make it really comfortable. The S.L.W. ratchet 3 is easily replaceable.
