On was founded by former professional athlete Olivier Bernhard and his friends David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti, who are not only united in their passion for running, but also in their dedication to create a perfect product. As a result, and after countless experiments, some of them with pieces of garden hose, On was created, a shoe that first surprised the running world and since then has delighted all of us. On running shoes are not only a new running experience, they are much more than that, they are a revolutionary concept of running shoes that combine fashion and technology with less than 200 grams that allow running with maximum cushioning and extraordinary comfort.

On, thanks to their tenacious research and development work, together with the contribution of their great champions such as Frederick Van Lierde, Caroline Steffen and Nicola Spirig, have made it closer to the future running shoe.
