The lower half of the frame supports the vast majority of torsional and lateral loads. Therefore, we have designed the head tube, top tube, and chainstays to withstand these loads and transmit power to the rear wheel. There is no doubt: high resistance to flex in the lower part of the frame directly translates to more watts at the wheel and an immediate sensation of power transfer. The margin for improvement is hidden everywhere, and obsession is part of the game. How far is too far? As long as we have had goals, a competitive and creative spirit, we have strived to win.
