The Ortovox 3L Deep Shell Bib Trousers are lightweight and flexible for total freedom of movement when freeriding, offering full protection and comfort combined with low weight. Toray's high-performance Dermizax EV waterproof and windproof membrane is lined with Merino Wool in areas of the body that are particularly sensitive to cold, ensuring optimal heat retention and a comfortable fit. To protect the sensitive kidney area, these freeride trousers have a particularly high cut and can be optimally adjusted to fit with the Velcro fastener at the waist. They have anatomically shaped knees and a comfortable cut to ensure freedom of movement on any terrain. Ventilation zippers on the sides provide extra ventilation when the going gets tough.

The zippers are also positioned backwards and can be fully opened, which makes comfort breaks much easier. The large, extended thigh pockets ensure that everything can be stored neatly and at the same time be accessed quickly. The avalanche transceiver carabiner integrated into the right pocket provides a permanent place for your avalanche transceiver. Thanks to their robust membrane and flat seams, they are particularly durable and long-lasting. Integrated Dyneema-Cordura gaiters and sharp edge protectors provide additional protection when freeriding. The trousers are also PFC-free and climate neutral for the sake of sustainability. Particularly elastic PU membrane made by Toray, provides protection in all weather conditions. It is windproof and waterproof, but offers high breathability, which increases the more you sweat.

- Merino Wool
Merino wool is one of the most appreciated fabrics for its quality and characteristics. Merino wool is obtained mainly from Merino sheep originating in New Zealand. This breed of sheep is found in many corners of the world, however the wool is recovered from the natural sheep of that country. The difference between these Merino sheep and those from the rest of the world is the skin, which is thicker to protect against extreme weather conditions. Due to the fineness of the fibre, Merino wool is much more pleasant on the skin. Sometimes the wide fibre diameter of regular wool irritates dead skin cells, while Merino Wool creates the opposite effect. Which is why Merino wool is much less irritating. This product is climate neutral. It has been produced in the most environmentally friendly way possible. The unavoidable CO2 emissions have been compensated.

Cordura is a necessity in terms of fabric reinforcement, due to its tight weave. It is highly resistant to wear, abrasion and tearing. Perfect for intense outdoor activities.

- Dyneema
Highly advanced fibre based on ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. It is a fibre 15 times stronger than steel.
