Safety comes first! A true alpine climbing backpack, the Trrad 26 S is equipped with an emergency card, which contains all the important information a mountaineer may need. In addition, the Ortovox climbing series comes with the proven emergency rescue system. In combination with the SAR 1 rescue system, a Recco reflector integrated in the backpack enables the quick location of injured or missing persons.
Recco's SAR1 rescue system is a helicopter-based detector that can be used to search large areas for people in danger in the shortest possible time. For visibility, a small reflector integrated in Trad backpacks is required. This ensures that people can be located quickly and provides the best possible protection, regardless of the season. The SAR1 system is already being used in many areas.

This system offers a removable and lightweight aluminium frame as well as a total contact transport. The frame is very flexible, but rigid along the horizontal axis to support as much weight as possible. Thanks to its 3D shape, the backpack adjusts to the back and guarantees great freedom of movement and the best possible comfort.
- RECCO
Includes a rescue system that lets you to be located in the event of an avalanche or getting lost on mountain hikes. The reflectors make it possible to be located by a team of professionals thanks to a radar. It consists of a small reflector integrated with an electronic transponder weighing just four grams with a thin copper antenna and a diode that bounces the signal from the detector and doubles the frequency. It is covered with a protective outer rubber sheet that gives it its known elongated shape of a tablet. It is practically indestructible. The reflector does not emit a signal and therefore does not require a power source.
