Patagonia Insulated Powder Town Trousers are totally PFC-free. They are designed to provide versatility and are focused on mobility, with insulation for powder that's based on dual-layer H2No Performance Standard shell for waterproof, breathable protection, that is also wind resistant. 100% recycled polyester Thermogreen insulation provides warmth, and it contains a hinged fit for freedom of movement and a soft taffeta lining for greater comfort and snag-free layers. RECCO is a rescue system that allows you to be located in case of avalanches or loss in high-altitude mountain expeditions. It uses a reflector-based system that allows you to be located by radar by a team of professionals. The reflector consists of a small electronic piece that weighs less than four grams with a thin copper antenna and a diode that echoes and doubles the signals sent out by detectors. It is covered with a protective outer rubber sheet that gives it the recognizable elongated shape of a tablet. It is practically indestructible. The reflector does not emit a signal and therefore does not require a power source.
