The Singing Rock Bandit ice axe is versatile for a wide range of use, especially suitable for demanding technical mountaineering and ice climbing.
Features:
- The bent rod facilitates attachment on ice or rugged rock while creating an optimal grip angle
- The hot forged head allows the use of shovel/hammer and the choice of ice or DRY spike (for demanding mixed climbing, the ice axe can be used without shovel/hammer)
- The shape of the head is designed so that it can fit into the cracks and provide support when climbing in soft snow
- The weight of the head is concentrated in the trajectory of the rocking, making it as easy as possible to penetrate the hard ice
- It is possible to attach a carabiner to the head or hang the ice axe on PORTER
- The ergonomically shaped handle is made of dual density plastic for thermal insulation and secure grip
- The BOXER protects the fingers against injury and soaking and allows strapless climbing; the RHINO hook is designed for greater grip on demanding ice/mixed climbing or, conversely, on snow-slope climbing
