The Ridley Ignite SLX Shimano SLX M7100 MTB bike is a very lightweight 29" rigid bike designed for XC competitions. If you're looking to improve your speed and driving skills, Ignite is the answer to your requests. It has excellent power transfer due to its built-in rigidity. Its tapered head pipe increases front end rigidity for optimal steering and control. The thru axles further increase their rigidity, as do the integrated postmount disc brakes. To add comfort, they have worked meticulously on the design of the tubes and the distribution of materials with the aim of creating the most accurate rigid bike that travels at high speeds over the most arduous terrain. The internal cable routing keeps the cables hidden and gives the bike a sleek look.
This bike is aimed at those who are looking for a high performance machine ready to compete. The weight of the frame is 160 grams less than the Ignite SL, making it the lightest mountain bike frame in our history. An extra 148 mm of rear space creates a highly rigid rear triangle, while 89.5 mm wide bottom brackets ensure maximum power transfer. All this while the 27.2 mm seat post provides that extra point of absorption and comfort you're looking for. With a current XC geometry, the Ignite SLX stands alongside the market leaders in rigid racing frames. The combination of a more advanced front tube angle, increased fork advance and short pods increases control at high speed, while offering more skilful handling that will allow you to make the next curve.
