Rip Curl Women Skiing

Rip Curl is a designer, manufacturer and retailer of surf sportswear and accompanying products, and a major sports sponsor. Rip Curl has become one of the largest surf companies in Australia, Europe, South America, North America and South Africa. It all started in March 1969, when two surfing friends Doug "Claw" Warbrick and Brian "Sing Ding" Singer met in Gilbert Street, Torquay. Claw had just finished a summer modelling stint with Fred Pyke and Brian was a science teacher. As the conversation progressed, and no doubt thinking about how they could continue surfing Bells in the coming months, Claw posed the question that started something great.... "Do you want to start surfboarding together?" he asked. Brian immediately thought this would mean a lot more surfing time, so on the spot he said, "Yes!" and quit teaching a couple of days later. The timing was perfect and so... Rip Curl was born.... To this day you can find wetsuits, surfwear and watches.
