The Nuvolo lining stands out whether worn alone or under a jacket as a mid-layer: it offers excellent breathability and quick-drying properties when worn as a single garment, and efficient moisture transport when worn under the coat. It is named Il Nuvolo (3,075 m) in the Pala dei Dolomiti Group, which in Italian means 'cloud', and is a warm, super-breathable layer that provides comfort and insulation for alpine activities in adverse conditions.
We're convinced you'll like the velvety feel of the double-sided brushed fabric, as well as the comfortable hood design with integrated collar that closes up to the chin. It features a standard design and two zippered hand pockets.

Polartec Power Stretch fabrics stretch in 4 directions and are highly breathable. They keep you dry during intense physical activity. How does this technology work? Sweat and a relatively high level of moisture near the skin cause discomfort. Polartec Power Stretch keeps the skin dry through three complementary mechanisms: the fabric is highly breathable and does not impede the movement of wet steam. A series of Touch Points on the inner surface of the fabric remove sweat. Sweat is drawn away from the skin to the outer surface of the fabric, where it spreads quickly and evaporates. When sweat reaches the outer surface of the fabric, it spreads to occupy several times its original surface, allowing the fabric to dry twice as fast as cotton.
