The Tyrolean mountain sheep have a narrow, woolly head and long ears that reach the ends of their mouths. According to the website of the association of sheep breeders, which contains very interesting data, these sheep can weigh between 70 and 130 kg and are agile climbers thanks to their strong ankles and closed hooves with a firm grip; extremely useful characteristics for mountain sheep.
