The wool offers greater comfort by retaining insulation and breathability even in wet conditions. Its absorbent nature moves moisture away from the skin and base layers to distribute and evaporate more quickly. Synthetic fibres provide greater strength, shape retention and faster drying, offering greater comfort during alpine use. This way you can enjoy a single fabric with the characteristics of multiple layers and an excellent level of warmth for its weight. In addition, wool has natural odour-fighting properties. On the sides and sleeves, we use a lighter blend of Polarlite plush and wool with a soft outer surface and a brushed mesh interior, in accordance with Salewa's body survey system, so that greater breathability and improved strength are achieved. It features a fitted hood and ergonomic sleeves and shoulders for a simple, sporty cut, comfortable elastic cuffs and a hem with elastic closures to keep you warm. In addition, this hooded sweatshirt can be compressed in its built-in bag so that it does not occupy anything in the backpack.

Polartec Classic 100, 200 and 300: available in a lightweight, medium or thick fleece, all of which bring warmth, comfort and breathability. The Polartec 100 fabrics are the lightest in the collection, an excellent choice for a warm base layer top. Polartec 200 brings perfect levels of heat and versatility in a medium weight, soft fleece version. Polartec 300 is the stronger and heavier version; it is made of a perfect thermal layer for putting on in very low temperatures.
