The Salewa Puez Light Powertex light hooded jacket is a model of minimalist design with maximum protection against bad weather, it is completely waterproof (water column: 10 000 mm), highly breathable (40 000 g/m2/24 h) and weighs only 160 grams. This simple jacket has been designed specifically for long alpine trekking routes, such as the Alta Via in the Dolomites, where you need to reduce the weight of your backpack as much as possible. Puez Light, made of Powertex Eco fabric, is waterproof, windproof, breathable and very easy to compress. The full laminate design with sealed seams features a waterproof outer material, along with a breathable, waterproof membrane and an additional layer of protection. A durable waterproof finish (DWR) is also used so that the outer fabric does not become saturated and the breathable membrane continues to function efficiently. It does not need a protective lining, so it is lighter and easier to compress. The Powertex has a very pleasant texture that gives the sensation of being always dry. This jacket has a sporty fit with room for a lightweight insulation interlayer and a slightly longer rear bottom for a better fit during movement. The hood, cuffs and waistband have elastic closures for additional protection.
