Salewa Zebru Responsiv Half Zip Long Sleeve Undershirt Green
Named after Mount Zebru (3,735 m) in the Ortles of the Alps bordering South Tyrol and made in Italy, this performance basecoat is mainly composed of a blend of merino and polyester fibers with Responsive polyamide yarns with a unique blend of heat-reactive minerals. Responsive is an intelligent tissue that absorbs far-infrared radiation (FIR) from the body and slowly returns it to the muscle tissue. Studies show that it stimulates blood flow, improves cell performance and generates higher levels of oxygen to promote better performance and faster recovery. In addition, Responsive is an integral part of the fibre, so it does not wear out and lasts the lifetime of the garment.
The Zebru has a sporty, close-fitting, high-performance cut, as well as a half-zipper that allows for ventilation or heat retention as needed. The advanced tubular knitting process creates a seamless, one-piece torso for added comfort without chafing. Merino wool also prevents the formation of bad odors and requires less washing.
