Is it sterilised?
- No, the mask is not sterile, but HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03 is an antimicrobial textile treatment that has been shown to be effective against human coronavirus in mask tests, significantly increasing the reduction of tissue viral infectivity in a few minutes. It is tested to last at least 30 washes. In addition, the mask can be disinfected by washing it up to 30 times at 40ºC or with bleach or other commercially available disinfectants. To reactivate the anti-drip / antiviral treatment, we recommend drying it in the dryer or steaming it with the iron.
Can the mask be used multiple times?
- Yes, the mask can be washed in the washing machine or by hand up to 30 times at a temperature of 40º with the dryer, without losing its anti-drip / antiviral features.
What is the reference standard for the production of the Santini Uci mask?
- The mask is produced in accordance with the indications of the Italian Ministry of Health Circular 0003572-P-18/03/2020. Paragraph 2 article. 16 Cura Italia Decree.
How to wear the mask?
- The mask is worn by handling it with the elastics. The head is passed through the inside of both elastics and the highest elastic is placed by passing it behind the head over the ears. The second elastic should be placed behind the neck. The mask should cover the nose and mouth well. It is recommended to touch the mask as little as possible once it is on and remove it by touching only the elastic bands. Wash your hands well before using and after removing the mask.
