The TPS is a 3D molded insert placed under the forefoot. This provides a custom, anatomical fit to the forefoot area of the shoe. The main benefits of the TPS are: better support for the toes when pushing hard, increased traction capacity and last but not least increased precision. At the moment of the release, the TPS extends so as not to restrict movement and, in doing so, helps to increase the surface area of the sole in contact with the rock.

- Pressure Absorbing Fit (PAF) System
PAF (Pressure Absorbing Fit) is an innovative heel system that helps distribute the force of heel stress and increase heel fit. Active Rand rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon and connects to the 2mm XS GRIP2 rubber, which acts as a bridge and allows for full heel fit while still providing dynamic forward pressure to concentrate force on the big toe. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for medium tension and 3 holes for heavy tension.
- M50 Rubber
M50 is Scarpa's softest rubber compound that offers the best levels of adaptability to the natural curves of the foot and toes. This morphological rubber compound offers a Shore A rating of 50, making it perfect for use in the brand's SRT system, toe patches and strategic positioning around the upper of the shoe.
