Schwalbe

Schwalbe is a brand by Ralf Bohle GmbH, a German bicycle, scooter and wheelchair tyres manufacturer. The company is the third generation of the family business Mittelstand. Schwalbe produce a wide range of tyres for different vehicles, but are best known for their travel, tourism and public services tyres. Schwalbe also manufacture bicycle tyres with small wheel sizes of 16” (Brompton) or 20” (BMX), which are markets often ignored by manufacturers. Their headquarters are in Hamburg-Wehnrath near Cologne, Germany, although their manufacturing is carried out by their Korean joint venture partner, PT Hung-A, at their Indonesian factory.
