The newly developed dual action tab allows for easy entry and exit. Due to the flexibility of the tongue, it follows the movement when in walking mode and is fully engaged when skiing, resulting in a more progressive flex.
- Full-Length Vibram Bi-Density Rubber
The full-length bi-density Vibram rubber under the instep area provides maximum grip when climbing on any terrain other than snow. Bi-density compound has firmer black rubber around the perimeter of the outsole for durability and superior edging power on step-in bindings. The softer red rubber in the midsole section provides maximum grip.
- Powerlite 2.0
Powerlite 2.0 shells were developed around the foot for a 'custom boot shoe' fit right out of the box. Their molds are configured to provide more room for the first metatarsal, 'sixth toe', navicular bone and asymmetrical malleoli to match the body's natural asymmetry, and to provide a deep, supportive heel cup with room for common heel spurs. The width and height of the toe box has been increased for an even more comfortable fit.
- Cabrio / Hybrid Construction
The newly developed Cabrio / Hybrid construction is a revolutionary boot design that takes the best features of a classic cabrio design boot and a classic overlay ski boot. The result is a design with a lower shell and pivot point that allows for fast, powerful edge-to-edge movement when skiing and agile flex characteristics when ascending the mountain. Cabrio / Hybrid construction is paramount for versatile and energy efficient skiing.
- Adjustable Forward Lean
The new Forward Lean Adjustable technology is a step forward in versatility and flexibility on the mountain. By changing the heel walking clip on the back of the ski boot, you increase the forward lean by up to 15º.
- Pebax Rnew
Pebax Rnew materials are thermoplastic elastomers consisting of polyamide and polyester building blocks and are made from castor plant oil.
