The Slight 83 is part of the brand's 'Multi-Segment' range. The main idea of this range is based on the combination of lightweight materials with current progressive shapes and constructions to be in line with today's practice. The Slight, available in 2 different widths (93mm and 83mm) are the new skis adapted to modern skiers. The Slight 83 is designed to enjoy the slopes and has the innovative lightweight sandwich construction of the Slight range, with the difference that it has a wooden core with air channels, for lightness and flexibility. This model also stands out for its better manoeuvrability thanks to its skate width more adapted to the track. - 3 Dimension Sidecut
This revolutionary sidecut design combines a toe and tail radius with a flat center line or a small amount of sidecut under the foot. The tip and tail radii allow for easy starting of the turn, while the flat line (freeski) or larger radius (in all conditions) provides stability, power and precise edge support. The full-length wood core produces a more consistent ski flex and creates a smooth transition between the skid and the rocker at the tip and tail.

Scott's Pre-Track technology allows for an effective edge that varies with the terrain. The unique blade and tail geometry offers a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on conditioned slopes and a longer effective edge when making larger turns or off-piste skiing. The result is a more precise, stable and versatile ski.

- Factory finished:
Scott skis come directly from the factory, ready to ski with the Scott factory finish. Factory Finish offers an effective edge angle of 88º, resulting in a 3º side angle and 1º base angle for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro-structured CNC stone grinding so you can mount your skis without tuning.

Minimises contact with the surface of the sheet by using small hole patterns to disperse possible scratches and abrasions The result is greater durability, ideal for use in rental shops.
