Protein is an essential nutrient necessary in the diet. It is recommended that athletes consume 1.2-1.7 g of protein per kg of body weight per day and this protein intake should spread throughout the day. The protein is made up of building blocks called amino acids. There are 20 amino acids in total, 9 of which are called essential amino acids. This means that our body does not manufacture them and they need to be consumed through the diet. Three of these essential amino acids are known as branched chain amino acids (BCAA) and these are leucine, isoleucine and valine. Etixx BCAA also contains potassium that contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal muscle function and maintenance of normal blood pressure. Who can benefit from taking Etixx BCAA? The Etixx BCAA supplement can be used by any athlete who practices strength and power sports, such as throws, sprinters, or crossfit or functional training. It will also be very useful for those who train and compete in intermittent sports such as team and racket sports, as a support for good muscle recovery after training.
