Technology:
- One Way Bleeding: has been developed for quick and easy prevention of air in our hydraulic system. They have streamlined the oil path in the system to avoid air bubbles in the system. The passing of oil in one direction plus a mineral oil funnel tool provides an easy and clean purge system.
- Ice-Technologies: Overheating, which can occur in the disc and pad when braking on long descents, has a negative impact on braking performance. Shimano has adopted Ice-Technologies disc and pad cooling technology for consistent performance. The coated disc blade, with a 3-layer sandwich structure of stainless steel, aluminium and stainless steel, provides better radiation performance. A radiation fin has also been adopted for the tablet. In addition, the coated disc blade and radiator fin ensure longer pad life, less noise, less overheating and light weight.
-DUAL CONTROL LEVER: It incorporates the brake and shift functions into the system and is easy to use. Ergonomic innovation is probably more important for the higher standard of performance than the added transmission. The new internal shift elements take advantage of the robustness of its MTB technology and are so smooth that you can shift effortlessly with just one finger both in front and behind. In fact, the rear derailleur is the ultimate expression of Shimano Total Integration, and you just have to experience it to understand it.
- Reach Adjust: The brake lever is equipped with a range adjustment mechanism. The distance between the handlebar grip and the lever can be adjusted to suit any size of hand or cycling style, as well as the individual preferences of the rider.
- Free Stroke: Allows you to adjust the distance from the lever's starting position to the pad's contact point to suit any hand size, type of cycling and individual rider preference.
- E-TUBE: is Shimano's 'service' that uses websites or apps to maximize the enjoyment of cycling by connecting riders, bikes and Shimano.
