Recommended for beginners. I've been riding my bike for a couple of months, and I've already changed the automatic pedals. They recommended me to use these cleats instead of the ones that come with the pedals, which are the Shimano black cleats. These gray cleats have several positions to allow you to remove the foot, not like the black cleats, which only have one exit position for the foot. So to start, these are highly recommended, in my opinion.
