The DPX2 arrives with the best of both concepts, to be precisely in the middle of the Trail and the Enduro. A thin strip of use that intermixes continuously and that demands a very powerful shock absorber, but with a greater ease of use. The DPX2 arrives to face the greater demand that is now given to the enduro bikes, which are almost mini DH bicycles, and also the new needs of the new Trail bikes of 140/150 mm, which now have to occupy that place that enduro bikes are leaving.

- Dual Piston System: The Dual Piston System (DPS) has three configurations in operation (Open, Medium and Firm) to allow users to adapt to a wide variety of terrains. The design of the valve provides a complete block without compromising the compliance of the blows, the control of the march and the efficiency. The DPX2 shock absorbers of the Factory series offer an additional adjustment of 10 compression clicks in Open mode.
- X2: Taking the oil flow architecture of the FLOAT X2 and DHX2 designs, the DPX2 is the little brother of the X2. This system creates low hysteresis, rapid hydraulic response, better sensitivity and better heat dissipation. It also provides a wide and usable adjustment range and controls low speed compression and rebound flow paths for better fit and consistent performance.
- EVOL
The expanded volume pneumatic sleeve (EVOL, Extra Volume) considerably reduces the force required to start the shock absorber travel, which achieves greater sensitivity and better absorption of small bumps. The progressiveness of the damping curve can be adjusted by means of volume spacers, which allows cyclists to fine-tune the response of the pneumatic spring.
