The Sidi Ergo 5 is even more innovative than the previous model. An optimised adjustment system and an unmatched rigidity make each outing a unique experience. The Tecno-3 Push locking system makes it easy to adjust even when pedalling, without having to get off the bike. The Techpro instep area, with high quality microfibre and nylon, is able to regulate the temperature and repel water thanks to the specially designed surface finish by Sidi.

Technology:
- The instep area features an eco-friendly Techpro microfibre with a highly innovative technological content, suitable for technical and sports products that offer high performance. It has an extremely modern design, as you would expect from the Sidi brand, which has been at the top of the wish list of athletes and sportsmen for over 40 years. New and improved features include embossed graphics designed to increase airflow around the shoe, and optimised ventilation at the toe to keep the feet cool even during very hot runs.

- A strap across the instep, with soft and anatomical shape and a soft material for improved comfort. Distribute pressure evenly over the instep and adjust on both sides to have a perfectly centred strap position depending on whether the instep is low or high. This system removes the need for a spacer. The soft instep is replaceable.

- The new Sidi Double Techno-3 Push system provides a symmetrical close of the shoe for even more comfort. The famous Sidi closures are made from durable materials and allow easy adjustment while you pedal, plus they are both adjustable and replaceable.

- Velcro strap that closes the front of the shoe. Inside it hides small plastic teeth that snap into each other when the belt closes. This system makes it the safest lock and keeps the strap from moving out of position.

- Reinforced heel that keeps the foot in place and stops the shoe from losing its shape under excessive use or prolonged pressure.

- The Sidi cycling shoes come with a replaceable polyurethane cleat in the heel area.

- The Twelve Carbon Composite outer sole is made of two different materials fused together: nylon and carbon fibre. It’s made from carbon fibre injected into a nylon matrix. The nylon used does not absorb water and does not lose its rigidity in hot or humid conditions, even over time, resulting in a lightweight, stiff sole.
