SKS Road

SKS is a brand of cycling accessories designed and manufactured in Germany. In its range of products you can find air pumps, fenders, bicycle tools and other accessories.

The origins of SKS can be found in the year 1921, when Karl Scheffer-Klute founded the company in the German city of Sundern.

In 1932 SKS began the production of air pumps , a product that currently continues in its catalog. One of the key advances of the brand was in 1956, with the first manufacture of plastic pumps. Until the beginning of the 90s, SKS is dedicated to mass production for the main brands of the market.

In 1983 SKS buys the English brand Bluemels, which allows it to include the mudguard in its product catalog. From here, it introduces a series of advances in the product, such as the Chromoplastics material, or the easy hook sets (Quick-release) for MTB.

In 2003 SKS began the production of compact tools for bicycles, and in 2006 launched its chain-guard collection.
