Smith MAG's patented technology allows them to quickly adapt to changing light conditions with the confidence of lens safety. Once in position, the lens holder provides a dual-patent pending mechanical seal to secure the lens. With the two locking mechanisms of the Smith MAG, the lens is kept locked. A simple press of a lever on each side of the lens releases the lens to change easily when light and conditions change. The strong, waterproof N52 magnets automatically guide the lens to the anchored position. The magnetic function speeds up lens changes so you can come back and go faster. The plastic grips are carefully considered and designed into the corners of the lens to facilitate exchange while protecting the lens surface.

Through ChromaPop lens technology, it will help you see detail and color beyond normal capabilities. ChromaPop filters out two specific wavelengths of light that cause color confusion. By doing so, the lens offers greater definition, more natural color and unparalleled clarity to allow you to see more detail.
- Tapered Lens Technology (TLT)
When light passes through a medium, it refracts (i.e. changes its path). If not corrected, this refraction can cause distortion and eye strain. Smith's Tapered Lens technology corrects incoming light rays by progressively narrowing the lens from the optical center to the peripheral view. This translates into maximum comfort and 100% visual accuracy.
- Carbonic-X spherical lens
The spherical series is characterized by a semi-mount imperceptibly integrated into a traditional full frame mask. The goggles, characterized by carbonic-x spherical lenses with transparent TLT optics and the patented Porex filter, have a semi-mount that improves vision, integration with the helmet and interchangeability of lenses in relation to traditional masks with integral frames.
