Protein is an essential nutrient that is needed in the daily diet and can be found in foods such as meat, fish, eggs, milk and nuts. Athletes in particular have a greater need for dietary protein and the recommended protein intake for athletes is 1.2-1.7 g per kg of body weight per day. This protein intake should be consumed in meals distributed throughout the day. Physical exercise, and in particular power / strength training, leads to an increase in the breakdown of proteins and their synthesis. By reducing protein breakdown as sequelae of exercise, it is important that you consume enough protein to stimulate the synthesis of muscle proteins since this is the basis for muscle growth. Studies have shown that consuming 20 g of protein after a workout is enough to stimulate maximum muscle protein synthesis and therefore can contribute to muscle growth. Whey protein is one of the most complete proteins and contains all the essential amino acids. It is digested and absorbed quickly and has a high leucine content. Etixx High Protein Shake provides approx. 24 g of protein and can be drunk after exercise to stimulate the synthesis of muscle proteins and contribute to muscle growth. Instructions for use:
Dissolve 30 g of powder in 250 ml of water / milk (1 tablespoon = 30 g of powder), right after your training
