HMB or hydroxymethylbutyrate is the product of the metabolite of the essential amino acid leucine that is produced in the human body. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which in turn are the building blocks of a muscle. HMB can also be extracted from foods (eg citrus, avocado, cauliflower, and catfish). In order to achieve a dose of 3 g HMB per day you should consume 600 g of high quality protein. Supplementation with Etixx HMB 1000 can contribute to increase muscle mass, especially fat-free mass, and can have a positive effect on muscle strength. Who can benefit from taking Etixx HMB 1000? HMB is particularly beneficial in activities with high muscle damage. This could be the case:
In strength / power training (explosive athletes such as sprinters, pitchers, weightlifters, bodybuilders, etc.), sports such as Crossfit, but also for endurance training (middle distance runners, team sports and racket athletes) in the start of the preparation period (pre-season) when the training intensity increases significantly for untrained athletes, who are generally more susceptible to muscle damage than well-trained athletes.
