The North Face Ultra Fastpack IV FutureLight shoes are the fourth version of The North Face's classic model. This version has incorporated FutureLight breathable technology in the membrane and welcomed all the feedback from those who train in terms of weight. OrthoLite Hybrid stretch insoles provide cushioning but also responsiveness and, together with FastFoam midsoles, maximize energy return for a much more efficient stride. The outsole's lug design is improved to adapt to undulating and rocky terrain, the Vibram Megagrip material has grip on all types of surfaces and the reinforced toe cap helps protect against impacts and bruises to the toe and heel.

The FutureLight technology developed by The North Face is a revolution in waterproof membranes. It is the first time that air permeability is applied as a characteristic of waterproof membranes, unlike conventional membranes, it contains a nanostructure that allows air to circulate through the fabric, improving ventilation and breathability without affecting resistance or waterproofing. This nano fibre structure has made it possible to create a much lighter and more breathable membrane to date. An ultra-lightweight fabric that protects against the elements in the most extreme environments without sacrificing comfort.

OrthoLite sockliners offer excellent cushioning thanks to their triple layer compressed layer construction that improve the way your feet fit the shoes. They are highly breathable, being made of polyurethane and manage moisture perfectly. Plus, they are lightweight and can be machine washed.

Grip, stability, shock absorption, durability and resistance to temperature changes are guaranteed.
The double density polyurethane outsole gives the shoes their lightweight and resistance. A comfortable and lightweight sole composed of a compact polyurethane outsole for good grip on uneven ground and with a tread pattern that automatically expels mud from wet and muddy autumnal trails, and an expanded polyurethane insole which cushions impact, preventing injury to the knees, ankles and hips. It is a very comfortable and flexible sole that adapts perfectly to the way your foot moves.
