The women's Topo Athletic Hydroventure 2 Trail Running Shoes are the perfect update of the award winning Hydroventure. They are breathable and waterproof thanks to the eVent membrane fixed directly to the upper offering greater adaptation to the foot. Precise laces allow them to be adjusted easily. The double density EVA midsole is softer nearer the foot and firmer on the outside to increase propulsion. This model is complete with a flexible rock plate to protect against stones underfoot. The outsole features Vibram Megagrip rubber for grip, while the multidirectional lugs are more spaced out and more pronounced for greater traction on wet, muddy terrain. The 3 mm heel to toe drop (25/22 mm) encourages a natural stride at the same time as providing the necessary contact with the ground. The Hydroventure 2 upper has gaiter attachments for Topo Athletic protection gaiters (sold separately).
