Responsive, snug heel and midfoot fit and a roomy toebox. Excellent Vibram outsole. This is the shoe Altra should have built. So far used it for two runs, 10 k and 8k. Love the ride. Will be having my eye on the following minor things: The upper material is very thin and stretchy. Will it hold? The water drainage. Would have wanted the heelcup to be softer, could be an issue. I have an inflammated heel at the moment, not caused by this shoe I should point out, but it remains to be seen have the heel copes with this heelcup in the long run. Good looking shoe too!

super and completely waterproof for out in the target

Went for the non-GTX version this time as I use them a lot for hiking on summer months. Went on a hike this weekend and they performed well on rock & trail. Across the boggy ground they got wet as expected but drained out and dried out quickly. Perfect.

But I still miss the pocket for the laces

But I prefer XA Pro 3D V8 with much more support for walking
