Northwave Extreme RR shoes with upper part made of ultra-light microfiber with nano perforations made with laser and anatomically compatible with the foot of the cyclist and designed to keep the foot in the correct position during pedaling. X-Frame construction without tongue that is combined with a SLW2 micrometric locking system that allows to tighten and loosen the closure quickly and easily. Integrated Heel System monocoque heel that allows to integrate a heel retention system inside the structure, without the need for external elements. Extreme Air ultralight, anti-allergic and antibacterial insole, which keeps feet incredibly cool with numerous ventilation holes that correspond to the ventilation openings of the sole. Sole Ultralight Carbon 15 Sole is the result of adding a layer to the Ultralight Carbon outsole to make it even more rigid creating the highest performance sole ever created by Northwave.

- Ultralight Carbon 15 Sole
Northwave has added a layer to the Ultralight Carbon outsole to make it even stiffer creating the highest performance sole ever created by Northwave. All the features that made it the favorite of the Northwave professional racers have been maintained: minimum thickness and lightness without equal. A special adapter makes it compatible with the Speedplay pedals, while the AirFlow system with seven vents improves air flow in and out of the shoes.

- X-Frame
It is an innovative design to transfer every watt of power. Totally unique, it combines new generation materials of only 0.5 mm thickness and ultra soft for exceptional comfort with a structure with 360 degree reinforcements along the length of the foot that connects the sole to the cords through the upper part . The result: a perfect fit and a perfectly balanced closure that pulls evenly around the foot. The SLW2 ball closure system works with the X-Frame design, replacing plastic inserts with soft tapes, while the flexible Dyneema cable adapts naturally to the shape of each foot.

- SLW2 Closing System
The SLW 2 (Speed ??Lace Winch) micrometric system represents the evolution of the closing system. Precision and maximum modularity. This innovative micrometric closure allows you to tighten and loosen the closure quickly and easily. The side button offers a double function: a micrometric closure and a total and immediate opening of the shoe. The dial has been completely redesigned in size, being much lighter and thinner. The outer part made of soft touch material allows the grip to be more effective. The ergonomic shape of the ratchet of the SLW 2 system follows the anatomy of the foot to make it really comfortable. The SLW 2 ratchet is easily replaceable. The cables come from the best technology derived from the world of sailing.

- Integrated Heel System
The new monocoque construction of the upper part allows to integrate an efficient heel retention system inside the structure, without the need for external elements. Same efficiency with weight reduction.

- No-Slip Heel
The inside of the upper part in the heel area has been coated with a specific material that improves the grip whose oriented fibers facilitate entry, but at the same time prevent the heel from sliding, providing a perfect fixation of the foot.

- Extreme Air Footbed
