Fulcrum Wheels designs and distributes wheels and components for racing bicycles in more than 30 countries. The headquarters of the company is located in Arcugnano, in the Berici hills, in the outskirts of Vicenza. Fulcrum Wheels was born in July 2004, from the idea and passion for bicycles of three aerospace engineers. The strong points of the young company are: the use of exclusive patents, the constant technological research and the young and captivating design. The Fulcrum wheels are born for the road competition, but in 2008 in the Fulcrum family two other great novelties come into play: the off-road wheels that will immediately be up to their name obtaining excellent results and the cranks for bicycles carbon fiber racing, that is, the first Fulcrum products for high-end components. Fulcrum Wheels uses only ultra-lightweight materials, such as aluminum, carbon fiber and Aramide, paying attention at the same time not to diminish the resistance of the wheel. Unique in the world are the 2: 1 Two-to-one systems, to bend the spokes at the critical points, the Dynamic Balance, for an always balanced rotation dynamics, the MoMag for a durable assembly and a perfect radius support. and the AFS (Axial Fixing System) for complete compatibility with all off-road to disc braking systems. Fulcrum also enters the world of Tubeless road wheels proposing the innovative 2-Way Fit system: an exclusive profile of the rim that allows both a tubeless and a classic tire to be mounted on the same wheel. The Fulcrum road wheels from the first moment conquered the confidence of the great champions and in the first 4 years they have reached the world championship four times in a row: In 2005 with Tom Boonen and in 2006 and 2007 with Paolo Bettini has followed the triumph in 2008 of Alessandro Ballan. But the triumphs overcome the road competitions. Julien Absalon in 2006 and in 2007 is XC World Champion and in 2008 in the Beijing Olympics he wins the gold medal !!
