The brand Troy Lee Designs was born 30 years ago in California, USA, as a hobby of a young motocross rider named Troy Lee, painting his helmets and his friends in the garage of his house. Fruit of Troy's enthusiasm for two very different worlds, competition and design, he soon went on to paint helmets for more and more pilots in California. His designs were so successful that more and more helmets were painted, and so his fame did not stop growing to become a global institution, painting the helmets for many of the best pilots that have existed in the world of competition in all kinds of disciplines.
