TSL Outdoor was founded in 1981 in Thônes, in the heart of the Alps (France). To create its first great product revolution, it is inspired by a wooden snowshoe to make it from plastic material. This is how the JCB was born, the first model aimed at the practice of leisure time and sports. In the 90s, TSL develops and proposes to the general public the 225 Rando, the first snowshoe equipped with an articulated fixation, combining comfort, technicality, design and good support of the foot. Its unique shape of wasp waist, provides a comfort of walking and becomes the recognizable footprint among all the rackets in composite material of the brand. Its success is immediate, constituting today the best selling model in the world. Thanks to the enthusiasm of TSL and its constant improvements (Step-In, Up & Down System, uplifts ...), which allow evolve in all types of terrain, TSL snowshoes cross borders and are exported to Japan and the rest European countries. Under the impulse of the brand, a European snowshoe race cup is created, as well as numerous marked paths. Since the mid-2000s, TSL has provided a new impetus to the American market, proposing a range of snowshoes in aluminum, with multiple tricks, manufactured in Vermont (USA).
