The Community Mask is not a medical product and does not provide protection against infection. By using it, it is possible to reduce the speed of respiratory flow and the expulsion of saliva drops and/or mucus, which helps to reduce the spread of Covid-19. However, the Community Mask has not been shown to have any protective effect in a medical sense. The required distance of one to two meters and regular hand washing is still the best protection against infection. The Community Mask is designed for personal use: it should not be passed around, within the family, for example.

The Texlyte Nano material used in the UYN Community Mask has been certified and produced in Europe according to Oekotex Standard 100. It does not cause allergies and is therefore particularly suitable for items with high hygiene standards.
- Thermoregulator
The Texlyte Nano material has a very low conductivity, so it guarantees an exceptionally high level of insulation, which makes it an excellent thermal comfort.
- Lightweight
The Texlyte Nano material is 50% lighter than cotton and 34% lighter than polyester, so of all the synthetic fibres, this material is very suitable for use as a mask.
- Dry
Texlyte Nano material is hydrophobic by nature. The water-repellent property of the yarn is permanent and is not affected by repeated washing. The Texlyte Nano does not store moisture, but dries very quickly.
- Ecological
The production of Texlyte Nano material requires 30% less energy than Polyester. No toxic pesticides or dyes are used. For this reason, experts consider it to be one of the most environmentally friendly synthetic fibres. In addition, the Nano Texlyte is 100% recyclable.
- Durable
Abrasion, tension and tearing are not a problem for the Texlyte Nano. Its resistance to abrasion is 2.5 times greater than that of cotton. Even sweat, sun and humidity have no effect on the durability of the Texlyte Nano.
- Easy care
Due to the hydrophobic property of Texlyte Nano, the material is insensitive to dirt, can be washed at 60° C and dries in a short time. This is enough to eliminate the pathogens. No need to iron. The mask can be used again after a short time.
As UYN has its own production facilities and works closely with AREAS (Academy for Research and Engineering in Apparel and Sport) and CeRiSM, it can respond quickly and flexibly. They collect valuable data in their own laboratories at the same time as conducting sports medical examinations to assess the suitability of innovative products. Research and development in the textile sector has reached a completely new level. Laboratory results can be incorporated directly into the development process. Test equipment made internationally is used to test fibres, yarns and fabrics to determine and continuously improve the response under load. So, in times of need, UYN has channelled all its experience into the development of the Community Mask. The results are impressive.

Delivery costs: The majority of our orders come with free delivery. Purchases over 49 euros in Spain have free delivery excluding products such as dumbbells, weights, MTB, BMX, urban, road and electric bikes. We don't deliver to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
