Velites was born out of a need of the brand's CEO, Matías Hernández. She started practising functional fitness in 2015 when almost nobody in Spain knew about the sport. One of the exercises he had to learn was the double jump, but he found himself with low quality, always tangled up combas, and even injured his hand as one of the handles of the Box's combas was made of plastic and partially broken. Of course, he blamed poor quality cams for his failure with double jumps. From that moment on, and being an engineer himself, he decided that it was time to redesign the whole camber concept. That was a few years ago and now he can not only say that he is a master of the skipping rope but he is also happy that the Velites team has succeeded with the Earth 2.0 skipping rope and the Training APP.
