Westfalia was founded in October 1844 by Johann Bernhard Knöbel. At the beginning, he made horse-drawn carts to transport goods. In 1951, thanks to a customer’s request, Westfalia changed its business direction. This customer asked for a van to be kitted out like a home. Since then, the brand has grown in this sector. It became a good option for outdoor trips.
