The Catlike Whisper Road sneakers are made of Clarino that is three times stronger than natural leather and only requires a third of the weight of real skin to match its resistance to tearing. Like the skin, the Clarino allows your body to feel comfortable naturally; It is dense at the same time of micro porous, which allows the exit of water vapor and heat. And since Clarino is a breathable material, the heat is eliminated with warm weather and retained in cold weather.
Catlike has also developed a fascinating 100% carbon fiber outsole with Graphene infused, the first for cycling shoes. Graphene is an extremely resistant nano-material that increases strength without adding weight. The sole is super-light and ergonomically curved to fit perfectly to the shape of the foot. Likewise, the rear plug is replaceable. It is truly a sole of professional competition degree.
For the 2016 collection Catlike has introduced the Boa closure system on the Whisper line. Boa dramatically improves the fit of the shoes and allows you to increase your performance. Catlike has collaborated with Boa Technology by choosing a revolutionary closure system that ensures maximum fit and safety functionality in your equipment. High performance can only be achieved with equipment that is one hundred percent accurate and safe. The Kevlar wheels and laces ensure you an incomparable fit and functionality in your cycling activity.
The Boa closure system, used in the Whisper shoe collection fits perfectly with the shoes creating a precise fit like a glove. The closure is uniform without creating pressure points in the foot. In addition the adjustment is fast and can be done on the fly.
How does the Boa IP1 closure system of the Whisper line work?
1.To start the adjustment, press the wheel inwards.
2. To tighten the Kevlar cords, turn the wheel clockwise.
3. To loosen, turn the wheel counterclockwise for a millimeter opening or pull the wheel out and then the tongue for quick release.
