The Wild Country Ropeman 4 is the latest and innovative evolution of the original Wild Country ascender. This compact ascender covers a wide range of technical applications such as emergency rescue, self-rescue, ascending, self-belaying, and adjusting positioning lanyards.
The new and improved grooved closure mechanism on the side plate prevents lateral opening of the side plate while ascending a rope, ensuring that no rope gets jammed between the side plate and the cam, making it more efficient and safer than other comparable devices.
Made from a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy and designed to work with a wide range of rope diameters, it also works with flat and tubular slings and is compatible with HMS and oval carabiners. The wide cylindrical hole design allows for full rotation of the device around the carabiner.
The sturdy stainless steel cable is covered with a durable plastic sleeve for safe and easy handling. The small and lightweight design of the Ropeman 4 allows you to always carry it on your harness. An essential piece of equipment for all vertical adventures.
