The Zipp 353 NSW Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. Sawtooth's design also allows the rim to be structurally strong yet lightweight. That will help you get out of corners and maintain that speed no matter what the terrain, especially steep, hairpin turns. The 353 NSW uses Zipp's Total System Efficiency, or TSE, approach to wheel design: overcoming specific barriers to speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses. The 25mm internal width is ideal for running wider tires at reduced air pressure for a more efficient ride. At the heart of the 353 NSW is the redesigned Hubset Cognition V2 with an updated V2 axial clutch mechanism for faster engagement and reduced friction, as well as increased durability.
