The Castelli Alpha Doppio RoS Rosso Corsa jacket is designed for riders looking for maximum performance with premium winter thermal protection. Castelli has developed a jacket with a double layer structure that allows the outer wind protection layer to be opened while keeping the insulating layer closed. This way, with this jacket you can keep the air flowing inside to wick away moisture and avoid direct contact with the skin. On a long climb you can open the outer layer completely to allow moisture to escape, and when you start the descent you can close the outer layer to keep your body completely dry.

The insulating layer of Polartec Alpha Direct fabric is soft, highly breathable and thermal. Its high collar is designed to move with you: whether you're standing or in an aerodynamic position to attack your teammates and become the leader of the month in January. At the waist, an elastic layer with a silicone band stays flat and seals the garment completely against the wind without creasing or riding up. The double-layer wrist opening with an inner layer under the glove seals the wrist perfectly, and the outer layer extends over the glove so that rain runs off the outside of the glove and does not penetrate the inside. 

To top off this performance jacket, GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER fabric, along with waterproof taping at critical seams around the shoulders, will keep your body insulated from wind, spray and light rain, even during long rides. Other seams are out of direct reach of water, so the water-repellent treatment of the fabric is sufficient to keep out most of the moisture.
