For the last thirty years, Petzl's vocation has always been the same: to invent specific solutions for minimising the risks of hiking such as low lighting with LED headlamps for outdoor activities, trail running , mountaineering, sailing, hunting, fishing, speleology ... Wearing flashlights on your head is so practical and seems so obvious nowadays that we have almost forgotten that 30 years ago, when Petzl launched their first headlamp, this concept was totally innovative. Since then the increasingly lightweight, compact, powerful and resistant headlamps have become a benchmark for design and technology.
